John has been a critical care nurse in the Los Angeles area for 17 years. His experience includes being a staff nurse in the liver transplant ICU at UCLA, the neurologic ICU at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, the ICU and peri-anesthesia care/recovery units (PACU) at Huntington Memorial Hospital; ground critical care transportation (CCT) at Bowers Ambulance, as well as having moonlighted at several other Los Angeles hospitals, including Cedars-Sinai, Keck Hospital of USC, Glendale Adventist Medical Center, California Hospital, and USC Verdugo Hills Hospital.

In addition, since 2020, John has been working as a legal nurse consultant (while still maintaining his clinical skills by working as a critical care nurse in the hospital setting), mainly attending DMEs all over the Los Angels, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties. John is fluent in both English and Spanish, which makes him well able to serve a wider range of the SoCal population.
